Function: This feature turns lowercase characters into small capitals. This corresponds to the common SC font layout. It is generally used for display lines set in Large & small caps, such as titles. Forms related to small capitals, such as oldstyle figures, may be included. The user enters text as mixed capitals and lowercase, and gets Large & small cap text.
Function: Many fonts contain alternate glyph designs for a purely esthetic effect; these don't always fit into a clear category like swash or historical. As in the case of swash glyphs, there may be more than one alternate form. This feature replaces the default forms with the stylistic alternates. The user applies this feature to Industria to get the alternate form of g.
Function: This is a dual-function feature, which uses two input methods to give the user access to ornament glyphs (e.g. fleurons, dingbats and border elements) in the font. One method replaces the bullet character with a selection from the full set of available ornaments; the other replaces specific "lower ASCII" characters with ornaments assigned to them. The first approach supports the general or browsing user; the second supports the power user. The user inputs qwwwwwwwwwe to form the top of a flourished box in Adobe Caslon, or inputs the bullet character, then chooses the thistle dingbat.
Function: Some fonts contain both a default form of zero, and an alternative form which uses a diagonal slash through the counter. Especially in condensed designs, it can be difficult to distinguish between 0 and O (zero and capital O) in any situation where capitals and lining figures may be arbitrarily mixed. This feature allows the user to change from the default 0 to a slashed form. When setting labels, the user applies this feature to get the slashed 0.
I have used Eclipse Galileo,Indigo & Juno and now trying Eclipse Kepler for the development. All the previous versions displayed me the xml syntax coloured wheres in kepler it's not so. Am i missing any settings or configuration? Thanks for your time.
Kepler is a serif font. It goes well with Proxima Nova, Soleil, SS Standard, Avant Garde Gothic ITC, Futura PT, Leitura News, Helvetica Neue, Europa, Lucida Grande and Times. If you're thinking about using Kepler then try 54px for headers. Give 18px a shot for content.

As we all know, though LCD and some other displays greatly enrich the man-machine interaction, they share a common weakness. When they are connected to a controller, multiple IOs will be occupied of the controller which has no so many outer ports. Also it restricts other functions of the controller. Therefore, LCD1602 with an I2C bus is developed to solve the problem.
I think that you can find the list of directories TeXmacs searches for files in the C++ source file Plugins/Freetype/tt_file.cpp, function tt_font_path.
On which OS are you? Can you link the post you are referring to? Perhaps someone else will be able to help.
Perhaps I have an idea of why it crashed (only perhaps).
TeXmacs, via MikTeX, installed the LaTeX package niceframe instead of bbding because it found in niceframe the font file it looked for (which is also contained in bbding), but what it installed was not what it needed. I installed bbding from the MikTeX console and did again Tools->Font->Look for more fonts; TeXmacs, after installing a few more packages it did not look for in the previous attempts, displayed the following errors:
That seems to work! Thanks. Just one more question. When I close and reopen texmacs, the fonts that were loaded before I closed it are not listed under Document->Font. I have to go to Tools->Look up more fonts. Why do I have to do it every time?
Typefaces with optical size variants have had their designs subtly adjusted for use at specific point size ranges. This capability reintroduces one of the features of hand-cut metal type, which uses a separate font for each point size and is often optically adjusted. This is an advantage over the current common practice of scaling a single digital type design to different point sizes, which may reduce legibility at smaller sizes or sacrifice subtlety at larger sizes.
Smaller optical sizes are also useful when output resolution is very limited, such as for on-screen display. One might choose to use a smaller optical size design for creating text on buttons for a Web page, for example.
Further followup, removing the Typekit font from my child styles.css resolves the issue, therefore the slight FOUC / stutter on font change presumably can be prevented by only displaying my Typekit font? The trouble appears to be at the moment that Enfold is attempting to load a default font, and then switch to my Typekit font. In actual fact, I only want the Typekit font to be used throughout the entire site.
Broke my display in a small crash. AR said they don't have no displays in stock i ask for the name of the display they said it was custom made for AR i find a link to a display look the same want to know will it work.
This guide covers the methods of working with text in Studio, whether it be displaying text from your datasets or inserting new text as part of your Foursquare Studio project. By combining Studio's many ways of working with text, you can create a more engaging, context-rich map.
Labels display columns present in the dataset and are best used to emphasize metrics (such as showing the exact magnitude of an earthquake) or provide additional context (such as naming county boundaries).
With support for most layers that display points at latitude/longitude coordinates or polygons that represent an area, labels can be added to a variety of Studio Layers. Specifically, this includes Point, Polygon, Icon, and H3 layers.
Tooltips appear when the user mouses over a data point on the map, displaying data from a set of user-specified columns. Tooltips are an excellent way for users to explore metrics without cluttering the map with labels. Custom columns generated via the expression editor can also be displayed in the tooltip window.
To display data in the tooltip, click the field under the desired dataset and select any columns to be displayed. The tooltip window can display metrics from several datasets. The columns will be displayed in the order in which they are added.
Additionally, you can click the # Format button on a selected column to format the column in the tooltip. For example, if you have a column that displays a percentage in decimal, you can format it to display with a desired level of rounding/truncation along with a proper symbol.
