[Ken Harper]

Mum has had her surgery and spent 2 hours in "recovery" before going into the Orthopaedic Ward.

My neice, Helen, has been with her all afternoon.

I can't find out exactly what op she had. The nurse that phoned me said it could be described as " a half hip replacement "  !!!

Anyhow, she has coped with the surgery real well, and has even joked a little with Helen.  My Nephew, David, is going to arrange to pick me up, either tomorrow or Wednesday, and take me to see Mum..

 

In the meantime, I've been pretty stressed, so I'm taking a break from my PC for tonight, and I'm going to try getting some sleep.

Will be back in the morning .
