How long after signing up for Howl will notifications begin working?

I have Growl for Windows configured to fwd all notifications to my
iPhone. My wife saw it and wanted it on her phone. So I've gone and
created her an account via Howl on her phone and then directed GfW to
forward everything to her phone as well as mine.

It's only been about 15 minutes since I registered her account, but
I'm still not seeing any notifications on her phone's Howl. Is there
some lag time before the notifications will start flowing to her
phone?

Hello Brian,

Her phone should be usable immediately. The Growl for Windows plugin uses the Howl API which requires an email to be associated with the account; if she is not getting notifications, that may be why.

Please send information about your wife's account (specifically her username) to sup...@howlapp.com and I'll take a look at it later tonight.
