Meetup is having problems at the moment, so emailing via google groups.

Sorry, I'm flat out with both summer and winter sports at the moment.

Anyone have a suggestion for a topic?

Anyone know a bit on web design or some app, gimp etc?

I could do a bit on the Web, using NodeJS (server side javascript) and describe the project I am working on now.

HI,

We'll also need to discuss the Botany Community day (http://www.botanycommunityday.co.nz/) which is this Saturday. We have electricity so, from the last meeting, we'll need:

• a gazebo/marquee (William - you mentioned you might be able to find one?)
• some laptops - I have a newish laptop and an old desktop but the more the merrier!
  
• some people to chat to passers-by
• some discs or memory sticks - I don't think money is allowed to change hands here, so these would be donations
  
• a table
  
• some decoration, information
  

We were also offered a 5 minute slot to talk on the stage as well, so I took up that offer. Our spot is at 11:50 and it is an interview. Although my name is down against it, I am more than happy if someone else would like to talk instead!

So please bring your thinking hats on Thursday!

Also, I have established a bank account for HLUG. So if you would like to pay subs by direct deposit/internet banking, the details are:

• Account no: 38-9015-0425870-00
• please put your name as the reference

Subs are $15 every 6 months (or $30 per annum) - this goes solely to paying for the rent on the room where we hold the meetings.

Hi,

I don't think my emails sent from my gmail account are getting through to the HLUG email list. Below is what I sent earlier in the week about the Botany Community Day. I hope you'll be able to join me at the Botany Town Centre ebween 10am and 3pm for at least some of the time. Also below are the banking details if you would like to pay your subs online.

If no-one else has anything to talk about tonight, I'm happy to talk on how to build a website with a little on mobile optimisation (i.e. building your website so it can be looked at on a PC, a tablet or a phone).
