Gordon's funeral

Hi all,

Some of you may remember one of the Howick Linux User Group founding members, Gordon Williams. He was one of our older members but an enthusiastic user of Linux and the group, even hosting meetings several times at his home. 

Sadly Gordon passed away in his sleep on 2nd December. His funeral is on Friday 16th December at 10 am at All Saints Church, 17 Selwyn Rd, Howick.

Thanks Richard, Sadly i could not attend but my thoughts were with the family. luckily a workmate , another Richard, whom knew the family, could attend and take my sentiments with him.

 

I heard back, that it was a small intimate affair with song intrinsic to the family. Richard picked up Gordon's funeral program with his twinkly eyes betraying his hidden sharpness.

 

Hope it was a good service for those that attended and evryone had a good Christmas day,
