I can show Mendeley, a reference manager, useful when writing reports that refer to other publications/websites/etc.

Why a cost to attend?  Not opposed to the concept, very few things in life are free, just curious as to why and what for?

The twice a year subs are not covering our rent. People who are paying subs presumably wouldn't be asked to pay anything else. I'd have $2 from occasional attendees would go a long way.
