Hi Sean
Thinking about a new laptop purchase and loading with Debian or/Ubuntu
Started with Acer A7..then latest Apple power book pro retina...now
thinking Lenovo W530..
Want a machine that I can us to replace desktop and light enough to take
away occasionally.. with grunt.
The Acer had Win8
The Apple .. seems harder to run linux..power management bad, screen
resolution hard to configure with retina..latest MPB is freezing
Lenovo W530 seems to answer most problems best but NZ options don't give
SSD or DVD yet... and heavy 2.6KG's
Used toshiba in the past.
Any recommendations?
Could also be a topic of discussion..compatibility etc.
regards Howard
