Ithought I'd have a kickaround on the Fifa 13 demo so that I could actually sprinkle the pepper of opinion upon the scant sliver of information in this post. Sadly, it doesn't work for me and I don't know why and don't have time to correct the issue. The Fifa 13 demo is now on Origin. It probably has new animations for celebrating goals, maybe even a Usain Bolt type thing to try and bring all of sport together, unless there's a license to pay for that particular pose. Now I've made myself a little glum by imagining/realising that it's possible to copyright a pose.

For the demo, the teams included are Manchester City, Arsenal, AC Milan, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, and doubling up on the last gasp champions of England, the Etihad is the stadium of choice. As for the full game, the things I'm most interested in are international tournaments and qualification, and the presence of a song called 'Sweet Sipping Soda' on the soundtrack. Never heard it, just like the name. I'll probably enjoy the game as much as ever (quite a lot) but I'm tempted to try out PES this year as well.

For the first time ever, the EA Sports FIFA Video game will feature women's national teams. The United States will obviously be one of the featured teams that you'll be able to play with when the full game releases on September 22.

If you cannot wait that long to try out the Lady Yanks in FIFA then here is some good news for you. On September 8, EA Sports will be releasing a downloadable demo for FIFA 16. The demo will have 12 playable teams including two women's teams. The USA will be one and Germany will be the other.

The addition of women's teams into FIFA has been a long time coming and one that thankfully has finally come to fruition. Unfortunately for all you dreamers out there that had aspirations of pitting the USWNT vs. the USMNT in the game, it will not be possible as they've decided to keep restrictions on gender-specific match ups.

Here are all the clubs available in the demo: FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mnchengladbach, Chelsea FC, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid CF, River Plate, Seattle Sounders

Want to try out FIFA 16 before it hit store shelves? You're in luck, as Electronic Arts has announced that a free demo for the upcoming professional soccer game will arrive starting September 8 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

The FIFA 16 demo will let you try out the standard Kick-Off mode, as well as FIFA Ultimate Team Draft, FIFA Trainer, and new skill games. Featured in the demo are 10 high-profile teams from the around the world, as well as two women's teams--including the World Cup-winning US Women's National Team. Note that the two women's teams--US and Germany--can only compete against each other in the demo.

The teams on offer in the FIFA 19 demo are Juventus, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, PSG, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Roma. Users will be able to experience Champions League matches for the first time ever when they play the demo as well as experience the third season of the Journey Mode.

All of the glitz and glamour of a Champions League game before kick off is included and the respective stadiums are decorated in the Champions League theme. Once the spine-tingling Champions League anthem begins playing, gamers will know that a new dawn has arrived on FIFA.

Survival Mode is another new feature that provides an interesting new twist. A match in Survival Mode starts as any other game would, until someone scores and then a random player from the scoring team is removed. The game can go the full 90 minutes, or if a team scores five goals, the game will be stopped as FIFA rules dictate that a game is abandoned with less than seven players on the pitch. In that instance whichever player has scored the most goals will win.

Players with a more robust FIFA playing style will be pleased to know that FIFA 19 is giving you the chance to turn the referee off, which will lead to absolute carnage as full-blooded challenges and slide tackles in the penalty area will go completely unpunished.

Lead producer Garreth Reeder confirmed the demo date last week but didn't share any details on the teams or stadiums we'd get a hand-on with, but EA Sports has released an update covering the game modes, clubs, and stadiums.

Players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One will be able to experience FIFA's first story mode with The Journey playing as Alex Hunter in Manchester United. If you're on a last gen console, Frostbite and The Journey won't be an option, but you can still play Kick-Off and Skill Games.

FIFA 10 (titled FIFA Soccer 10 in North America) is a football simulation video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts worldwide under the EA Sports label. It was released on 2 October 2009 in Europe, 1 October in Australasia and 20 October 2009 in North America. It is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2 and Wii.[6] Handheld versions of the game were also released for the iOS, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, and Mobile Phones.

The demo of FIFA 10 appeared on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows on 10 September in Europe, on 11 September in Australia, and on 17 September in North America. The playable teams were Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Marseille and Chicago Fire. The stadia used in the demo were Wembley Stadium (Xbox 360 version), and FIWC Stadium (PlayStation 3 version). The demo offered friendly matches with half lengths of three real-time minutes. As well as playing a friendly match, the demo allows users to upload created in-game videos and screenshots to EA Football World.[7] The tagline for the game is "How big can soccer get?", and "Let's FIFA 10". Commentary is available in 12 languages, with each language boasting around 25,000 phrases. The English version features British commentators Martin Tyler and Andy Gray, while Clive Tyldesley and Andy Gray were still to remainas commentators in PC, PS2, Wii and PSP.

The Manager Mode has been revamped for FIFA 10, with many previous issues and criticisms addressed. EA has claimed that over 50 key improvements have been made to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.[11] Among these improvements are:[12]

The "Total Football Experience" is a new feature in which football news from around the Manager Mode world is visible, including player transfers, fixtures and results in foreign leagues. A new "Assistant Manager" can be used to take care of the team's line-up and to rotate the squad based on importance of the upcoming match. For example, if the next match is against a low rated team, he will make sure that players normally on the bench will start the match. Pre-season friendlies have been introduced to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, as a chance to flatten out any wrinkles in a team's lineup before the domestic season begins.

Results for simulated matches are more heavily based on team strength and do not appear to be as "random" as has been the case in the past. This results in more realistic performances and eliminates instances where stronger clubs would be fighting relegation and clubs with weaker players were winning the league. Non-player clubs also now rotate players more often based on factors such as fatigue, player form, and the relative importance of a match, so the lineup for a top team in the early rounds of a domestic cup may consist of less-able and younger players as opposed to a full-strength squad. The names of the "generic" stadia can be changed in Manager Mode to reflect the name of the player's club's home ground.

All financial matters are based less on a team sponsor and more on the club's board of directors, who provide two overall budgets: The wage budget, a yearly amount for paying players, and the club budget, for buying and selling players as well as making other improvements to the club. There is a "Board Difficulty" setting, which determines the financial generosity of the board.

The transfer system has been made more authentic, as money is no longer the monopolizing factor in acquiring a player. The acceptance of an offer will be based on factors such as the number of players in the squad in the same position. If the club accepts, the manager has the choice of which, if any, of the players to ultimately sign.

The "Player Experience and Growth System" has changed. The manual experience growth from FIFA 08 and FIFA 09 has been abolished; player growth will now be determined by in-game performance, demands placed on the player, and achievements based on the player's particular position. There are three categories for gaining experience: "mental", "physical", and "skill". Younger players with higher potential will gain experience much faster, and each player will have an individual growth point, which in turn promises more authentic player growth patterns.

A "Live Season" feature has been implemented within Manager Mode, whereby a player's "form" rises and falls based on performance (within Manager Mode itself rather than real-world events). He will receive a temporarily higher or lower rating along with temporarily higher or lower stats, to reflect this.

"Virtual Pro" allows the player to create a footballer and take him through the four Be a Pro seasons, include him in the Manager Mode career, use him in Kick off, Tournament, and Lounge mode, as well as using him in the Arena. Game Face has also been added to FIFA 10 as in other EA Sports games, where gamers can create their Game Face on the web at easports.com or easportsfootball.co.uk, then download them into the game. Once a Game Face character is created, he can then be applied to the player in game. Faces can be changed on the web any time. The game face is used as the player's avatar in online play. Players can also grow their players attributes and player traits, celebrations, and kit can be unlocked to make the player realistic and unique. A created player can also be taken online to play with friends in the FIFA Clubs mode.
