Reminder - HAL Meeting This Thursday

Just a reminder that:

 

1. We have a great program for you this Thursday April 9^th starting at 7 p.m. at the Robinson Nature Center in Columbia. If you can’t make it in person you can always join in the fun via Zoom: (https://us06web.zoom.us/j/88367300909?pwd=M9s3bOmlVa78H4TCWK4evvYb57b16h.1)
   
   What’s it like to be under a dark sky? Four HAL members (Mike Miller, Chris Todd, Bill Vanderlinde, and Victor Sanchez) are going to describe their experiences in some great dark sky environments, both nearby and on another continent.
   
   Of course, we’ll have our other regular segments such as Book of the Month, What’s Up in Space, Shallow Skies, and Member Astrophotos.
   
   
2. And, speaking of Member Astrophotos, there’s still time for you to hit me with your best shot! (apologies to Pat Benatar…)  
   Send your photo, sketch, or even space themed artistic work that you have created directly to me at pres...@howardastro.org by 7 p.m. this evening so that I can include it in the presentation. Include a note about the item (e.g., scope used, exposure time, processing technique) if you can.
