Members Only Star Party - Saturday April 18, 2026

This Saturday evening, I look forward to hosting the April, 2026 Members Only Star Party at Alpha Ridge Park. Rather frustratingly, the weather forecast has waffled between rain showers and clear skies. The forecast of the moment predicts partly cloudy conditions.
Things begin at sunset (7:49PM) and continue until at least 11:00pm. A thin crescent moon sets with Venus at 9:45pm. The park gate closes at 9:00pm, but they will not be locked. If you arrive late, feel free to open the gate, just leave them the way you find them, so non-members do not attempt to enter the park. Remember to keep your headlights on whenever your vehicle is in motion.
Members only events are restricted to members of HAL. Participants generally work on their own projects and are not equipped for public outreach.
