Tonight’s Public Star Party

It’s midnight at Alpha Ridge Park, and we’re just closing up after a successful public star party. Clouds rolled in around 11, but before that, visitors enjoyed views of the moon, Mercury, Venus, and several deep sky objects after astronomical twilight. I counted close to 100 cars and over 30 telescopes set up. Guest estimates: 150-200.

Krystal drove the Illig scope and Arjun entertained with his solar system models.
