Rick Fienberg recently reposted this link to a DIY Sun projection device
made from a plastic funnel, an old Plossl eyepiece, and a sheet of rear
projection material:

I made one this week and had a chance to test it today. It works pretty
well and seems like a good way to share views of the Sun.
