Question about seeing

Was anyone imaging last night? Did you have really bad seeing? I’m trying to figure out if it was guiding problems/incorrect guide settings or a rather turbulent atmosphere. My guiding would remain steady under 2” then occasionally jump to 4” or more randomly in both RA and Dec. It was bizarre. I ended up throwing out almost half my exposures. 

Is there a way to independently measure seeing?

I thought the seeing was only fair, but not really bad. No trouble with guiding. Saturn was jumping around and Monday night's image was much better.
Transparency was not great.
