I realized I have shared this in the discord group for members but not everyone is there and a lot of people has asked me about my latest results in solar imaging.
Here are the 2 images I have taken so far of the sun with the Lunt 80mm single stacked.
You will see the difference in progress.
Hopefully this weekend I’ll be able to get some more as I’ve been learning more how to properly use this scope.
The first one was the first light I got of the Lunt, and the second one I captured alongside Steve on his porch a week ago. I was able to get better tracking, seeing and also do better post processing in the second one, and I even got a little bit of the 3D effect of the prominences just by tuning the etalon a little better.
