to HAL
All - David Stein and I will be your co-hosts for the penultimate public star party of the 2026 HALO season this coming Saturday, the 17th, beginning at sunset, 6:25. José Urías will be driving the Illig inside HALO. We will be one day shy of the first quarter moon. Up all evening Saturn will be a favorite target as well as early autumn’s deep sky objects.
Come join us whether you bring observing gear or just yourselves. Spread the word to family and friends.
No rain dances are welcome. End of week forecast is clear and cool. Dress warmly. A good rule is when you think you have enough layers on to come out, bring one more.
