Gould Observatory Impromptu (May 29)

Hello,

I am hosting an impromptu public star party tomorrow, Friday, May 29. The Gould Observatory will be open from 8:30 to 10:30 pm.

Guests are welcome to bring telescopes, binoculars, and other similar viewing equipment. I will be available on campus for those who would like to arrive early to set up their gear.

The Gould Observatory is located on the campus of Glenelg Country School in Ellicott City. The address is 12793 Folly Quarter Road | Ellicott City, MD 21042. Our school is approximately 20 minutes from Alpha Ridge Park.

Restroom facilities are available on-site. Power outlets are limited.

Hello Krystal, 

Will we be able to continue imaging after 10:30 when the observatory closes?

Also if i bring my telescope, where do i set it up at?  Will i be able to bring my car to the setup area or need to walk my equipment in?
