Found some aurora last night! Was cloudy at my usual spot for aurora hunting in Frostburg, MD so I ended up a bit closer (especially with the forecast not looking too good) to a location closer to home. Started showing redness on my camera at 9:34pm then pillars began showing at 9:43pm. The few times I have images aurora this close to the central part of Maryland I don't recall visibly seeing color, so I was pleased when a nice red color became visible. This round ended around 11pm as the soft red color (no pillars) faded. Clouds were an issue where I was and looking at the satellite loop, I wish I had been more east as it appears I had a friendly cloud with me all night.
