Hi, Has anyone tried imaging the new SN in NGC 7331? I am not sure if I caught it w my Seestar S50 tonight or if it is a hot pixel. I closed the arm, reopened and reacquired the Galaxy w the same result, and it correlates w online images of the SN.

Yes. You picked it up.It's the bright object near the nucleus. I imaged it last night and could see it clearly but was having guiding problems so I'm not planning to calibrate the data. Here's is an image from Cloudy Nights. https://www.cloudynights.com/forums/topic/1009610-new-supernova-sn-2026aaiv-in-ngc-7331/

I was fortunate to collect it for photometry reasons but also produced a color image.
