Hello All,
I hope all is well. As you all know, Dr. Jackson is retiring and the department is celebrating her retirement on June 20. With this in mind,  we should probably get her a gift on behalf of our class. I was hoping that we could get her something meaningful that she would actually use and would like:

Here is a few options (add more please!)
1. Gift Card to a major Airline (Delta, American etc)-Dr. Jackson and her husband love to travel- thinking if those who are willing could give $25-30 a piece we go present her with a gift card
2. Flowers + ?
3.
4.

Also, who is attending the retirement ceremony?

I will be traveling on that day. However, I am willing to pitch in with the gift. Should I send it to you, Robin?

I'm willing to contribute as well. I can mail you a check this week to go towards it, so that it can make it to the east coast in time. Just give me your info if that works for you.

I won't be in town and unfortunately I'm not able to contribute. Although I wish I was able to 😓.  But just a suggestion, square cash or Bank of America would be a good way to collect the money.

I will not be able to make the party however i am able to contribute. Presenting her with an airline ticket sounds like a great idea!

I'd like to contribute. I can do it through Bank of America like Dae Dae suggested or another way. Just let me know what everyone decides.

Send her soaring into retirement in style via The class of 2013. Count me in...well monetarily; I'm unable to attend the event. Just send a deadline for people the pay whether it's thru check, BOA, PayPal etc.

Thanks Everyone. I guess we will go with the airline gift card. With this in mind, deadline for contributions ($30) will be due by Friday, June 12, 2015. I think I may be the only person going to the event so you could put the money in my Bank of America Account.  It takes a couple of days for the airline to mail the giftcard so I want to be sure I get it in time.

Thanks yall!! Miss you guys
