Registration ends tomorrow for the 23 June 2022, Defense Health Agency (DHA), Clinical Communities Speaker Series (CCSS), “Enhancing Primary Care: Refining Proficiencies to Improve Patient Outcomes.”
This CCSS will take place from 0745-1635 (ET) virtually through Adobe Connect and participants have the opportunity to earn up to 6.75 FREE Continuing Education/Continuing Medical Education (CE/CME) credits if all courses are completed! This event highlights current evidence-based practices, policies, and recommendations related to primary care services. Such health care topics include ethical considerations for dual relationships, care of service members with traumatic brain injury, musculoskeletal care, efficiency strategies for provision of care, nutrition and diabetes management, and COVID-19 Palliative Care Protocol updates. The educational content is created by subject matter experts in the ethical, research, academic and medical domains of the military health care sectors. The primary focus of this event aims to enhance the quality of patient outcomes and population health by providing advanced CE/CME opportunities to improve the practice, skills, and knowledge of health care providers across the Military Health System.

Continuing Education:
The DHA, J-7, Continuing Education Program Office (CEPO) awards the credits which are limited in scope to health care providers who actively provide care to U.S. active-duty service members, reservists, National Guardsmen, military veterans, and their families.
Three (3) of the sessions will award ACHE credits (Sessions 1, 4 & 6).
Two (2) of the sessions will award APTA CEUs (Sessions 2 & 3).
One (1) session will award MOC ABIM, ABP and ABPath Credit (Session 5).
