HI all,
Final details for April 25, 10:00-3:00, Robot Fest 2009,
http://www.robotfest.com/
1. Robots should not throw things (pieces, rubber bands), or require a
lot of space to run.
2. DIFFERENT from last year - DO NOT bring all your parts, etc. Bring
only the robot you want to show, in a box just big enough to contain
it (for protection!). If you want to show the program, bring a paper
copy.
3. Plan for an hour or two at the club table and an hour or two to
look around.
4. If you don't have a robot ready, come anyway - I will have at least
3 robots and I will need help demonstrating and making sure someone
doesn't disassemble them - it happened last year!
5. Bring your lunch, or if you prefer, purchase hot dogs and soda at
the festival.
6. I will arrive between 9 and 9:30. If you get there before me, just
ask and you will be pointed to the club table.
Looking ahead at our next meeting:
May 30, 2:30-5:30, (5th Saturday), Central Library, Meeting starts at
3:00. We will be introducing our catapult challenge.
Also on May 30, Goddard at the Baltimore Convention Center:
