I am back in Houston. Pl see one picture from my son Ram's marriage. Sam Kannappan
Dr. Ramakrishnan and Dr. Aarthy were married in India on June 24th 2009. Ramakrishnan is the son of Sam Kannappan of Houston, Texas and Aarthy is the daughter of Mey Kannappan of Bakersfield, California. Ramakrishnan received his PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and Aarthy graduted with M.D. from Harvard Medical School. The traditional wedding with blessings by an elephant and Ramakrishnan riding on dancing horse took place in Chettinadu in Tamil Nadu State. Dr. George Sudarshan, Tamil Poet Va Mu Sethuraman and others blessed the couple. Houston Mayor Bill White proclaimed June 24th 2009 as Ramakrishnan and Aarthy day.
