It's an idle moment at the desk, so...

I'm really surprised there are so few taking up the 200K on Saturday.
With weather like this I would have thought hordes would be turning
out.

I will be distributing cue sheets and brevet cards bright and early
Sat morning - although unfortunately I will not be riding along. I had
planned to do the ride but my wife's British Bazaar is on that day and
whilst I was hoping to escape that chore, familial duty dictates I
should be there. Alas!

The 200K route is up and down, up to the quaint little town of
Anderson with its exquisite 1894 Edwardian Victorian courthouse - I
bet that was the info control question! - via the less than quaint
Rattlers in Navasota. Nothing of interest on this flatish route, but
be careful on the stretch of 105 this route traverses towards Navasota
- as dangerous a road as any for a cyclist in my opinion.

Breakfast and or coffee is available at La Quinta before the ride. See
you there.

Ken.

Yes Ben. The start location is at the LaQuinta motel at the FM 1489
exit from I 10. This is the next exit west of the FM 359 exit.

For 600K riders, the LQ will have early breakfast for us on Saturday
at 4 AM. They will also have it on Sunday, but I need to give them a
time to have it ready. This route is a 400/200, so I'm thinking 4
AM. Any other suggestions, please let me know.
