RUSA RBAs,

This is Rob Welsh, Minnesota Randonneurs RBA, and I am asking you to pass on an opportunity for you and your riders to participate in a great 1200k event next year, the Coulee Challenge, scheduled for August 15-18.

Some of you may already have a 1200k or other major event planned over the same timeframe. I understand if you aren't comfortable with promoting our event, but am hoping that most of you would want your riders to learn more about what's going on next year, a pre-PBP year. You may already have some Coulee alumni from 2018 in your rando group. Ask them what their experience was and if they would recommend it to their randonneuring friends.

The Coulee ride is truly an outstanding 1200k. BTW, if you do have a 1200k or other event going in 2022 that isn't a calendar conflict with the Coulee, send on your marketing message and I'm happy to promote your ride to our members and email users. We have over 300 email users interested in randonneuring.

Here is some information on the 2022 Coulee Challenge 1200k event being held next August in Minnesota. If you are interested, check out their website and register as an Interested Rider if you want to be in the loop as more information comes out. Registration opens in January 2022.

The Coulee Challenge is back! In 2018 we held one of best 1200k events this side of Paris Brest Paris. Next August 15-18 we are doing it again.

This will be another great ride on some of the best roads and scenery in the country with full on the road and overnight support along with several pre-ride activities. The ride starts in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul and tours through the coulees and back roads of SE Minnesota and SW Wisconsin.

The Coulee is a perfect preparation ride for Paris Brest Paris in 2023. In 2018, 67% of Coulee riders went on to ride PBP in 2019.
