Article 4: Preregistrations

Preregistrations are first open to those who have completed at least one BRM (qualifying ride) in 2022. The  preregistration date depends on the longest brevet validated in 2022 and spots are subject to availability at the time of preregistration.

BRM ridden from Nov 01, 2021 to Oct 31, 2022	Preregistration starts on (at 12 PM French Standard Time => CET, UTC +1)
1000 km or RM 1200 and +	January 14, 2023
600 km	January 28, 2023
400 km	February 11, 2023
300 km	February 25, 2023
200 km	March 11, 2023
none	March 25, 2023

Pre-registrations will be cancelled if remained unpaid for three clear days and your departure time will be released on June 10, 2023 if the registration was not initiated (at least three BRM must be indicated in the registration form).

The last day on which a pre-registrant can convert their pre-reg into a full reg with at least 3 completed 2023 qualifiers is June 9th. On June 10th those un-converted pre-registrations will be wiped out and the spots opened to anyone with the requisit 3 qualifiers completed already.

PBP aspirants can complete  their last qualifier up through the end of June. On the PBP websites, the date July 2nd is mentioned however I would *not* recommend someone seek out a qualifier that late. In fact, the last RUSA sanctioned ACP brevet is June 25th. While there are some 200 and 300s listed for July 1st and 2nd, there is zero hope that those would be completed, the RBA filed results, and the BC team send those to the ACP especially when France is several hours ahead of the US in time zones. (currently France is 5 hours ahead, but I don't know if that is a peculiarity of DST).

Second off, how we are interpreting the information available: Riders still have until June 30th (technically) to finish their qualifying rides. But, they must have three completed before the pre-registration conversion deadline. Is that correct?

The ACP has modified the PBP pre-registration process to allow riders with no BRM brevets in 2022 to pre-register. Starting on March 25. 

Also the date on which pre-registrations will be cancelled if not converted to full registrations has also changed from June 20 to June 10.
