Remember the Restoration Roundups of years past? CPC is having another one this coming October 3 in Waller County. Come to learn about wetland and grassland restoration and see the restoration sites.  For birders: "Hear from seasoned birders about the habitats grassland birds rely on..." Join us on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at Sand Hill Farm in Waller, Texas, for a day of learning and exploration.

Protected under conservation easements held by the Coastal Prairie Conservancy, Sand Hill Farm has made significant progress in restoring native grassland and wetland habitats. This workshop will feature morning presentations on landowner partnerships, the restoration process, and the role of private lands in supporting grassland bird populations, followed by an afternoon tour of active restoration sites. A great opportunity to practice grassland plant ID!

Registration is $40 and includes lunch. Please come dressed for the outdoors!
