Volunteer needed for school pocket prairie

Hi All,

I am looking for a volunteer to help with the pocket prairie at Garden Oaks Montessori School ( 901 Sue Barnett Dr, Houston, TX 77018 ).  It was installed in November 2019 as a Katy Prairie Conservancy Project. 

I was recently contacted by a PTO member who said they need support to get it back in shape. They are looking for a pocket prairie leader on their end.

My plan is for me and the Pocket Prairie Volunteer to do a walk through with the Garden Oaks team. We will talk about what needs to be done: which non-native plants need to be removed, whether we need to add any plants, which plants need to be thinned...  I would also strongly recommend that they set up monthly workdays.

The idea is for the Volunteer to act (with my help, if needed) as a consultant for the Garden Oaks pocket prairie and perhaps lead the monthly workdays, should they decide to do it. I would provide any and all help the Volunteer would need from me.
