Hi all - join us next Tuesday (9/6/05) at the Volcano (2349 Bissonnet) for
our monthly "First Tuesday" gathering. This month, we'll be joined by the
on-air personalities for the 90.1 KPFT Monday afternoon HAAM (Houston Area
Acoustic Musicians) Show: Chris Collins, Connie Mims, and Bill Cabrera. They
will be discussing how to get your music on the radio, and they will share
with you their likes and dislikes regarding music submissions.

As usual, the meeting is at the Volcano (2349 Bissonnet) and goes from 7pm
to 11pm. No cover charge, free food, drinks at cheap prices, and lots of
Houston Music Industry folks in one room. Ian Varley will be hosting this

Celebration for Tim McGlashen

On September 18th, Houston's music community will gather to honor our
departed friend Tim McGlashen. The Buddhacrush will perform it's final show,
along with performances by several other Houston bands, at the Meridian. See
