Status of Local Weather groups

The weather report which has been posted as a service by bcm.tmc.edu is no
longer available. .

This cannot be fixed since the service which we used as the source to the
data is no longer really working (It did not make the Y2K cut). This service
was external to bcm.tmc.edu and we can do nothing about its demise. (We
simply provided the mail to news gateway for the Houston forcast which
originated from a site at another University)

The automatic postings have been discontinued. I would advise all new
admin's to rmgroup houston.weather
