Epic Certification isn’t required. Contractor will receive certification once On-Boarded.
This is a 1 week class in Wisconsin. Individual must be available to take the training class.


Senior Applications Developer
* Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional or operational areas
* Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
* Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs
* Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards
* Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements
* Ma train users in conversion and implementation of s stem

* Codes complex or high risk components
* Performs complex maintenance and problem resolution of software applications
* Maintains full technical knowledge of applications development tools and methods within a particular platform or technology; instructs and guides others, providing peer review to ensure quality assurance
* Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of technical design alternatives and the implications of each
* Develops and implements application maintenance plans to address technical and business issues
* Integrates applications applying knowledge of software architecture
* Adheres to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques and generally accepted best practices
* Tunes custom applications for maximum efficiency
* May be responsible for more complex peer review

* Proficiently applies IT methods, professional knowledge and Mercy standards and practices to complex tasks and situations
* Intuitively grasps familiar, stable system performance situations
* Responds to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response
* Effective in relationships with business partners, professional peers, and other team members
* Coaches less experienced IT professionals

* Has in-depth knowledge of the business and consults with business partners to attain results
* Interpersonal Interactions in favor of a product, service, or point of view through an intentionally structured exchange of facts and/or demonstration


* Works with project manager to develop realistic work estimates, financial budgets & project schedules. Reviews project deliverables for accuracy and provide assistance and mentoring to others

* Estimates resources requirements for medium-sized, straight-forward projects

* Customer Relationship for addressing customer needs through individual action or with a 'Warm handoff' Proactively seeks
* Management improved relationships with customers and identifies business needs that require single-department, complex solutions

* Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience AND 5 years of relevant technical or business work experience

* Detailed understanding of full software development life cycle
* Extensive experience applying code management principles
