Last one I went to was at Mama's in the late 90s... almost as far
back as the last meaningful flamew^H^H^H^H^H^Hdiscussion in this

Yeah, it's sure been a while. Anyone using {ab}usenet for anything

I upgraded my Agent newsreader the other day ($19) and it came with a
complimentary 90-day trial of a usenet subscription (107,000 groups) -
dunno how complete that is or even if it matters. To be honest I
haven't even upgraded my list of groups. That alone should be
interesting.
