Bob, I think we all get the point. Would you please stop
posting this message every week? Computer Expo sucks, we all
know it. Anyone can see when you walk in the store that it is
run like a fly-by-night outfit.
He finally stopped getting the error messages at bootup, only to
find that they have shut off the himem check in the config.sys
so he would not complain anymore , thinking he would not notice.
There are new people lurking this group every day and Computer Expo
does not deserve to be in business.
We need to do as much damage as possible.

Keep your statements to statements of fact. They are a business and
their pockets are deeper than yours. If you are not careful you could
end up being sued for a pile o' cash.
They refused to exchange my 486-120 mother board and took my machine
to "look at the problem". After telling me that it would be ready 3
times and it wasn't (after a 45 minute drive each way), I finally went
back into the workroom to discover that it had not even been opened.
They put in a 100 mhz board-- called it an UPGRADE (and charged me
$35) and then also charged me 35 more to put the board in. All I
wanted was an exchange for another 120mhz board which my invoice said
was their policy. I and my friends will NEVER EVER shop at COMPUTER
EXPO again as a result of these lies which wasted my time and the
unfair $70 charge after their refusal to honor their own exchange
policy.
If You are considering purchasing anything from COMPUTER EXPO, I urge
you to contact the BBB and check out their customer complaint file.
You might change your mind.
