If anyone has had a good experience with a Houston moving company,
I'd like the name(s).

If you had a bad one, give me that name too!

NOT apartment moving. We will be moving contents of house.

Thanks!

I moved at the beginning of the month and used 3 Man Movers - they charge
by the hour instead of the piece, which I think is a good deal. I think it
matters a lot not only what company you use but who shows up - the guys who
moved me were Gama, Jose and Tino. They did such a great job I not only
tipped them well but wrote a letter to their company commending them.
Nothing was dropped, jostled or banged. Not a single wall was touched by a
single piece of furniture coming into the new house. Everything was placed
where I asked and everything was treated with care. They were friendly,
clean and worked unbelievable hard.

I have used Husky Movers in the past and ended up with a number of things
broken and a bill a lot bigger than the one I just paid to 3 Man Movers.

I'll tell you one moving company not to use and that is Max Movers
I had all my belongings in storage with them and almost all was
destroyed. They said the roof caved in and everything got wet. They
only told us this after we requested to get some furniture out.
Apparantely it sat in water for 3 weeks. Bopxes were repackaged and I
am missing some items. Also we tought we came to an agreement with the
owner Paul Melia to settle the damage. He signed the agreement and
then refused to pay. He said sue him, which is what we are doing.
They dont care about any damage of your property and are unconcerned
about theur customers.

Hokay, we've had the good and the bad about Max Movers --- could
someone else come up with another name (on the good side). We'll
be moving mid-late September and gotta get a handle on this.
Moving our household to another in Houston. (Not apt.) It has been
YEARS since we last moved. I really don't want to have to end up
suing someone. Thanks....
