No kidding. Lee Brown's claim to fame is that he set his successor up
with one hellofa job to do. Our next mayor will have to fix all of
Houston's roads and much of its other infrastructure - after years of
neglect under Brown. Our next mayor will have to put city hall on good
terms with HFD, after Lee Brown alienated our firefighters. And our
next mayor will have to whip HISD into shape.

Those are just the major things.
