Thai Papaya Salad

Where are your favorite places to order papaya salad? I'm hooked on
this dish. It's such an excellent combination of hot, sour, salty and
sweet flavors.

I've eaten really good ones at Erawan on Richmond and Thai Spice
Express on Bellaire.

I haven't eaten their papaya salad, but having compared all the thai
places near West U, my favorite by far is Thai Cottage on Richmond and
Weslayan. IMHO, their curries are the best around.

I like Thai Cottage on Richmond too. I always order their 'Volcano
Chicken' (?)...I think that's what it's called. It's a grilled
quarter chicked on-the-bone served with a nice Thai dipping sauce. My
girlfriend always order the yellow curry so I get to eat some of that
too. :-)

It's also BYOB which totally jacks their rating up with me.

The only drawback with that place is having to watch wreckers tow cars
from the lot the entire time you're there.
