Hadley will be presenting to the HACASA on creating R packages on Nov
9th. This is not an event hosted by us, but it's open to anyone who's
interested. You can find more details on our meetup.com page at

Would anyone be interested in meeting again in November after the
9th? John's already got a presentation topic lined up, and we could
get a room at Rice to hold the meeting in. Otherwise, it will
probably have to be after the holidays before our next meeting.
