Hey gang!  I went ahead and created a meetup.com site for the group so that we can get a good count of meeting attendees in the future and get something a little more robust than just the mailing list to track events.  Please sign up if you don't have a meetup.com account and then join the group at http://www.meetup.com/houstonr/

I went ahead and set up a mailing list on the site as well, but I'm not really sure which list you would rather use, the Google groups list or the meetup.com list at housto...@meetup.com.  I don't care either way, but we should decide soon so I can update the profile to point to the appropriate list.

I'd vote for moving to meetup - I think it's easier to have it all in
one place.
