Hi everyone -

Next week, Sept 18th at 7pm-9pm in the Community Room in Houston Central Market (on Weslayan and Westheimer), we will have our first discussion of THINKING FAST AND SLOW by Danile Kahneman.  Text we will cover includes the Introduction and Chapters 1 through 14.

Those who joined us for a discussion of INCOGNITO by Eagleman will find some common ideas though reading Eagleman is not a requirement for this discussion.  I'm making an effort (among other things) to note his "tips" (my term) for better decision making as he describes the differences between our automatic thinking and deliberative thinking.

 Hope you can join us!
