We’re excited to invite you to the 2025 Rice Wireless Innovators Lab—a dynamic experience highlighting the innovative work of high school educators and students exploring wireless communication, AI, and coding with the BBC micro:bit! Join us as we celebrate their accomplishments and explore how hands-on STEM learning is preparing the next generation of problem solvers and tech leaders.
1-Day Educator Workshop
Details:
September 13th
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Rice University
Eligibility & Registration:
Open to Greater Houston-area high school educators
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident
Registration closes: August 17th (all supporting documents due)
Applicants must include their school website in the application
Space is limited; $30 Fee. Lunch and parking are included in the registration fee.
Participant Expectations:
Engage in full-day workshop and hands-on activities
Integrate workshop content into your curriculum
Participate in post-workshop feedback and follow-up opportunities
Share outcomes or lesson adaptations with R-STEM (optional)
