Are you a Texas educator (grades 7-10) interested in expanding your knowledge and skill sets in physical computing? “Let’s Get Physical With Python” — a WeTeach_CS Python Deep Dive Session — offers you the opportunity to explore physical computing with HummingBird Bit Kits. Physical computing using Python is a great way to introduce students to coding. It shows them how literal computers are, why you must think thoroughly about your code, and even how to move servo motors to turn on LED lights!
These trainings are set for June 11-12 at the Commons Conference Center at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus in Austin from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, and water/coffee/tea will be provided.
Apply today! Applications close May 20. Applicants will be notified of their status no later than May 23.
