Hello fellow Educators,
I wanted to let you know about the kickoff of the HMER (Houston Museum Education Roundtable). This is a group of Houston-based museum educators and informal educators who are interested in quality educational practices and building a community by meeting regularly throughout the year in the spirit of sharing a collaboration. We will host a series of programs throughout the year at rotating institutions on a variety of topics. Programs are designed for networking, learning, connecting, sharing, and challenging each other. We think that Houston could really benefit from a group like this and we hope that you’ll join us!
We have three programs planned for our inaugural fall season – be sure to mark your calendars!
