new in uav ..

hi guys, i don't have any uav yet. i am planning on get one in the
near future for some research work. im just trying to collect some
info and in hope to find the right parts. maybe i can learn from you
guys!

I have used quite a few airframes (all fixed wing though, no quadrocopters). 

I recommend the EPP FPV from hobbyking (pretty affected by the wind, but you can add lots of weight to mitigate this to some extent)

or the SkyFun from hobbyking (not hugely affected by the wind, but launch speed has to be high [you have to throw the heck out of it when hand-launching])
