Utile (in collaboration with PinkCommaBooks) is publishing a compendium of the firm's housing work from 2003-2007 and we have organized a book launch party at PinkCommaGallery on the evening of Friday, February 29 (see attached – it's a 2 page PDF with critical information on the second page). 

 

Despite the fact that the book is chock-a-block with 23 smart urban housing prototypes on 225 pages, we have found a way to publish the book so that it retails for less than $10 (think Dover Books), so bring your wallet!  There will also be a small exhibition of our housing work at the gallery and I am planning to give a very short talk starting at 7:15 PM.

 

Please get the word out to all of the housing groupies that are involved with Housing GSD.  We are hoping to get architecture faculty and housing-inclined students from all of the area schools at the event.
