Dear HSUG Members,
On May 9, 2013, HUD PD&R will host a 2015 American Housing Survey Redesign Conference. This conference is part of a multipart strategy for soliciting ideas for the AHS redesign for 2015. The AHS Redesign Conference will be patterned after PD&R’s highly successful Research Roadmap Conference and will focus on three key areas: (1) sample size and scope; (2) questions and future housing topics; and (3) improving the user experience. The goal of the conference is two-fold. First, HUD PD&R hopes to see if any general consensus emerges regarding major redesign issues. Second, HUD PD&R hopes to gather important redesign questions that are currently difficult to answer but will be part of a redesign research agenda for the coming year.
If you are an AHS user and/or have a strong interest in housing data collection issues, we encourage you to attend. Registration is limited, so please register only if you plan to attend. Please let me know if you have any questions.
