DUTIES:

The individual selected for this position will:

• Serve as the Chief of the American Housing Survey Branch with management and supervisory responsibilities.
• Plan, monitor, and advise the Branch participation in the American Housing Survey on the Housing Survey Team.
• Supervise a subordinate staff performing various functions that support the production of high-quality data from the American Housing Survey.
• Maintain effective in person and written communications with supervisors, staff, members of other divisions, and with our customers and key stakeholders.
• Initiate the preparation of empirical and analytic reports, working papers, articles in peer reviewed journals, and presentations at conferences and other professional and interagency meetings, or at Census Bureau seminar series.
• Monitor project progress and control systems for office programs to identify and correct problems.
