Hi everyone,

This month is a bunch of things (most important among them being
Isabel's birthday). Another thing that stands out to me is Financial
Fool's Day they had in Europe and the "Teaparty" protests planned
across America for the 15th. I've never felt the desire to attend a
protest, and I never thought I would. But I'd attend this.

My question is about protests in general. I have always thought they
were rather pointless, undignified, and ineffective. But I've never
been this upset about the government's actions. What are your
experiences/opinions about protests? Have you ever attended one, or a
counter-protest? Do government officials really notice or is it just
a way to prove a point?

If the government doesn't notice, no point is proved. More later.

No experience, but networking with individuals with a similar passion
could be a benefit.
