Thank you for registering for the Geekulcha SafeHack Hackathon happening 14 - 15 April at BCX Centurion campus. Over 200 people are registered for the Hackathon. For security reasons, you are requested to come with a physical copy of your ID/passport/driver's license (yes it can be a certified copy), not a digital copy.

- Venue (new): BCX Head Offices, Multi-function room
- Time: 08:00 Saturday - 16:30 Sunday
- Facilitators: Keitu, Tiyani, Mixo, Sina
- Mentors: SensePost (leads), Liberty, IBM Security, Telkom, etc.
- Prizes by CISO Alliances: 1st - R10K, 2nd - R5K and 3rd - R3.5K (don't make it be about prizes, LEARN, COLLABORATE and ENJOY)

What to expect or gain?
- Get trained by security experts from SensePost
- Work with alone or with a team and mentors throughout the weekend in building a secure solution
- Use tools and research to test/check vulnerabilities of your solution
- Present to the judges and get a chance to win prizes
NOTE: A list of common vulnerabilities will be given to your team. Your team must solve one vulnerability at a time, gain points and address more of them.

- Own extension/multi-plug for in case
- WiFi is sorted but we advise bringing own for back-up
