ms dos 6.22 - Disk 4 (Supplemental Disk)

Since most of you guys are hoarders I figured somebody must still have old 6.22 disks lying around (or disk images). I have images of the 3 install disks but I'm looking for the Supplemental Disk. I've been googling like mad for the past hour to find a 'good' copy, but so far nada.

So does anybody have it ?

I believe i might still have some from my days pre Linux 1993. Will be able to hava look whether they are still in "that" box over the weekend when at home again.

Hiya

Pretty sure I do. I'll take a look in the "historic" box.

For a second I read Dos 3.22 supplemental. Have that two, but don't
have a floppy drive to read it anymore!

I don't even have a stuffy drive to read my 6.22 disks either.

Will take a look, I'm sure I've got it, but can't test the disk :)

What from the "Supplemental Disk" you looking for? I'm sure I have
this all on 1.44" Disks, but not be able to read it, seeing that I am
not sure that I have a working stiffy drive.

If you have a Technet subscrtiption, you can get a legal copy from the Technet Downloads....

Is it needed for something specific that can't be done by FreeDOS?

Just a quick note about the technet download...

It has 3 1.44MB disk images and 4 1.2MB disk images...

There is also a directory "upgrade" containing some other files...

What is supposed to be on the supplemental disk? (And is the 1.44MB version supposed to be 4 disks?)

Supplemental disk seem to have been sold separately.... (For DOS 6.0 at least, with the Resource kit...)

http://manmrk.net/tutorials/DOS/msdos.htm (I viewed the Google cached version, the original may / may not be down...) seem to have it.... Legality might be an interesting problem...

IT might make sense to contact Microsoft to see if they still sell licenses for MS-DOS if you need a legal copy...
