#HourofCode - Winter 2015 Schedule

Hello, all,

As some of you may recall, last Monday (Jan 26th), I told you all I'd reveal the Mini-Project details this week. But as I worked on the Mini-Project last week, it became clear to me that we needed to learn and get comfortable with a few things first.

So, I readjusted the schedule, and here's what we've got planned for the rest of the quarter.

Winter 2015 Schedule:

• Week 1 (Jan 5th): Welcome Back! Housekeeping tasks, new Junior Coordinator positions, etc.

• Week 2 (Jan 12th): HTML & CSS Refresher

• Week 3 (Jan 19th): No #HourofCode (MLK Day - School Holiday)

• Week 4 (Jan 26th): Git Refresher and Homework; Setting up Ruby on Rails using Cygwin

• Week 5 (Feb 2nd): Ruby Refresher -- Online Only

• Week 6 (Feb 9th): Rails Introduction: Rails for Zombies Level 1 & 2

• Week 7 (Feb 16th): No #HourofCode (President's Day - School Holiday)

• Week 8 (Feb 23rd): Rails Introduction: Rails for Zombies Level 3 & 4 -- Online Only

• Week 9 (Mar 2nd): Progress Check-In / Q&A Session
  

• Week 10 (Mar 9th): #HourofCode Wrap-Up

Each week, we'll have a write-up available on this Google Group of specifically what material and resources we talked about during the session. Additionally, I will be adding write-ups from previous weeks (Week 1 - 4), so be sure to check back often to see what new content we've posted!

Will there be a meet up today? The winter schedule says that there will be a meet up today but with the holiday I wasn't sure.

Hi Tenzin, 

No, there won't be a meet up today, as South's campus is closed. However, there will be new content for this week posted to this group a little later today. So be sure to check back later this afternoon!
