COMMITMENT NEEDED BY 8/25

Good news—we have been able to grant extensions for all four! They are currently doing well, and while we have the space, we are going to continue giving them that time.

However, they still need a rescue avenue out. We are seeking commitments by 8/25 to ensure their continued safety. We have received no rescue interest thus far, so please take another look and share them far and wide!

🟠 OCAS-A-25059 – Mama + 9 Puppies

Pit Mix | Intact Female | 1–2 Years | HW Not Tested

Mama gave birth to 9 puppies on 8/1 and is currently doing fantastic in a foster home with her babies. She is protective of her puppies but friendly and social with handlers and easily won over with treats.

They have a safe temporary place to stay, but foster is temporary—they still need a rescue avenue out.

 

🟡 OCAS-A-25103 – Silas

Coonhound | Intact Male | 7 Years | 40 lbs | HW Positive

Silas is a friendly, dog-social senior hound with a mass on his prepuce requiring further evaluation. He is also heartworm positive.

He's still here with us, enjoying playgroups and attention, but needs a rescue able to address his medical needs.

🔵OCAS-A-25083 – Pepper

Pit Mix | Intact Female | 4 Years | 50 lbs | HW Negative

Pepper has a suspected spinal/pelvic issue causing a very stiff gait and noticeable bunny hopping. She needs further diagnostics to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.

Pepper is dog friendly and doing fantastic in her foster home! She is safe and loved for now, but still needs rescue placement for diagnostics and a permanent avenue out.

Everyone is currently stable and doing well, and we're grateful to be able to give them more time. But that time isn't unlimited. A rescue commitment by 8/25 will help us ensure their continued safety.

If you can't help directly, please share with your rescue contacts. We just need the right rescue to see them.
